Wellgate Farm - August 2008

Wellgate Farm

On 16/17 August 2008 we went to Wellgate Farm. As we got there we were amazed at what we saw as the Scouts only thought it was a little farm. We settled down and unpacked our stuff, after, 10/18th set off to work but before we could start obviously we had to know where everything was!

Liz and Donna, our instructors, showed us around. There were rabbits, sheep, ponies and much more. During our working day we had lunch. There was also a tuck shop to visit. Just as we settled down into our sleeping bags, tired and bored, King Louie kept throwing his smelly socks at us.

The next morning, when we woke up, the Scouts had breakfast then packed our belongings, saw the animals one last time, being able to cuddle the rabbits. Flopsy, my rabbit, was cute. I had great fun plus I wish to back there!
