The 9th Barking & Dagenham have been meeting at the church hall in Wood Lane for over 25 years.

The Group is very active, with keen and experienced leaders providing a wealth of opportunities for young people.

The Cub Pack and Troop allow the Cubs and Scouts to plan and run the programme themselves, including running all their own games.

The Scouts are responsible for planning and organising not only their Troop nights but days out, events, camps and activities throughout the year. In the past year alone the Scout Troop has done:

• 25 January 2008 Meal at Liberty Bell in formal dress
• 16/17 February 2008 London Loop Hikes
• 23 February 2008 London Loop Hikes
• 13 April 2008 London Loop Hike
• 19 April 2008 London Loop Hike
• 26 April 2008 PL Meeting

This does not include the 30 or so District events in which the Group participates fully.
