Chess Competition - 13 January 2007- 17th B&D HQ

We had 6 Cubs enter this year. After 5 rounds in the Swiss system the standings were:

Individual
1st Place - Declan Dobson - 4th B&D
2nd Place - Luke Willcocks - 9th B&D
3rd Place - Liam Wells (21st B&D) & Terry Smith (4th B&D)

My thanks to the 17th for kindly hosting the event. Thanks also to the judges and admin people.

Swimming Gala - 10 February 2007 - Dagenham Swimming Pool

Well done and thank you to everyone who helped and took part in the Gala. Congratulations to the winners. I've done it again, not checked the final scores. There was a mistake made in both Sections C & D, some points were left off the final score sheets. The overall result was not affected. I have spoken with all the Akelas of the Packs concerned and given my apologies and issued new certificates where required. The 6th and 9th will share the section D trophy. The correct results are as follows:
