Beaver Handicraft - 24 March 2001 - 6th B&D HQ

We have just had the District Beaver Handicraft competition. There were 12 groups entered which was very good. The judging was done by Christine Terry (ADC Beavers - Ilford East) and Margaret (BSL - 1st Chadwell Heath).  

Results:

So the overall winners of the new shield are the 17th B & D. They swept the board! Well done to them all and the leaders.

I would like to thank:
Cliff and Mary Mcleod of the 6th B & D for all the help in setting up for the competition
Pauline Osborn, my A.D.B.L.,  for sorting out the points system
Darren Dowling of the 9th B & D for printing out the new handicraft certificates for the competition.

7-a-side Football Competition - 9 June 2001 - May & Bakers Sports Ground

On the 9th June we had eight beaver groups enter the 7 a-side-football competition. It was a hot day as the kids played their games but it all came down to the semi-finals, the 21st B&D against 17th B&D but the winner was 17th B&D. In the second semi-final it was 15th/10/18th B&D against 9th B&D and the winner was 9th B&D.

The final was a good game and the winner was 17th B&D .well done to them plus the referees and helpers,a good day had by all.

Connect-4 Competition - 10 November 2001 - 17th HQ

The Connect-4-Competition on Sat 10th Nov was won by Sukrit Sood of the 17th, second was Josh Humm-Rhodes of the 4th. Well done to all.
