Chess Competition - 14 January - 17th B&D HQ

We had 22 Scouts enter this year. After 7 rounds in the Swiss system the standings were:

Scout Rally/Maurice Pass Trophy Weekend - 18/19 March - Thriftwood

We have just had our Scout Rally/Maurice Pass weekend at Thriftwood, many many many thanks to all the Leaders/Explorers who gave up their weekend to help run the bases also many many many thanks to the team from the 17th for catering the event yummy as always.

Even though it was a chilly weekend compared to last year those that attended braved it well

Well done to the 10th/18th for winning the Rally & well done to the combined patrol from the 6th/19th for winning the Maurice Pass

My only moan was to the lack of numbers compared to last year as this is a good weekend for your scouts to learn from, I hope this lack of support was a once off, even if you don’t have enough for a full team composite teams are welcome.

This year saw 6 patrols enter from 5 Troops. A small number normally but quite good for a Cup Final day.
